A Trendy Top Review

When asked to write a Trendy Top review, how could I refuse? I occasionally suffer from too high shirts and too low jeans, and ok, maybe I sport a muffin top every so often (it’s the pants doing it, I swear).

With the Trendy Top wrap, I have that extra layer, which also comes in really handy if there’s a cold draft. I didn’t find the Trendy Top wrap too warm or not warm enough. In fact, I often forgot I was wearing it. There was no real bulk added to my outfit either. No one at work even suspected I was wearing one!

While it can help you look leaner, Trendy Top wrap is not meant to be used as a girdle. Please don’t buy the Trendy Top assuming that it’s shapewear. It’s not designed to hold you in like that. It is meant to provide an additional layer for you to keep you from exposing your middle to the elements without having to pull your shirts down or your pants up.

Far and away, my favorite color of Trendy Top is black. The white is nice, as is the gray. I haven’t tried the beige yet as I don’t wear a lot of beige (washes me out).

Let me run down my list of questions you might want to ask.

  • Is it soft? Yes it is.
  • Does it stretch? Yes it does.
  • Does it keep you covered? You bet.
  • Is it too hot to wear in summer? No, I don’t think so – it’s quite comfortable.
  • Is it warm enough to wear in the winter? Sure is.

Couple of other things – I’m not sure if there is a wrong way to wear the Trendy Top wrap. I mean, pull it on and over your hips, and you’re good to go. I don’t know how the Trendy Top wrap would look under a really tight top, but if I were ever to wear a really tight top (which I rarely ever do), I probably wouldn’t be too concerned about layering underneath (or the tight top would be the layer underneath).

    Hi. I want to know if they’re 2 kind of Trendy Top (Regular & Deluxe)? I ordered one set on a website and the price announced was $10.00 for 2 (black & white) and FREE for other 2 (beige and grey). But when I got them, the invoice was showing $20.00 for them instead of $10.00.

    The publicity never mentionned anything about the quality of the Trendy Top? I called Trendy Top and they told me that the deluxe one is twice the price !!!! So my final invoice was $20.00 instead of $10.00. When ordering it, anytime it was mentionned during the order if i wanted the deluxe versions for $10.00 more. Is this true or just a way to make money ???

    I would really appreciate to know the real story

      Hi Celine, I wanted to do a little research on this before I answered. Not having the two side-by-side, I can’t honestly speak to how much difference there is. I DO know that while the original Trendy Top wrap that I have is soft, it’s not like the super-soft cotton t-shirts I own. I’m actually a little jealous that there’s a softer version.

      I know that the deluxe version is an upsell to the original Trendy Top offer, so it wouldn’t be on the main page of the website, but in another window as you proceed to checkout. While we don’t manage Trendy Top customer service or orders, if there’s a discrepancy between the invoice you received as an email when you purchased the Trendy Top wraps and the invoice you got in the box when you received them, I would suggest you call Trendy Top customer service at 1-877-206-6747. Just be sure you check the statement of whichever payment method you used to purchase them to make sure that you were charged the same amount as what your emailed invoice said.

      Customer service is available Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 10:00pm Eastern Time.

      I just ordered too and my bill totaled $25.90. I kept saying “no” to all of the ads asking for more or softer, etc….it got to be so much that I just closed out and decided not to order. Well, it ordered anyway and the bill said $10 for the 4 colors with $15.90 processing and handling….so that’s where they get ya. I was going to call and cancel but I thought about it and 4 wraps for $25.90 is worth it to me so I am just going to suck it up and take them. I haven’t gotten them yet though, so I sure hope I like them.

    Hey Essie – I had the same very frustrating experience. No way to contact a real human being on the phone or website. Not sure if the order went through or not. This will be my last interaction with this company.One big mess!!

    i actually called off the tv to order and i got so frustrated, after they get your payment info they start with one offer after another and i got so tired of it i just hung up. i am sure i will still get my order but not sure on the exact amount i will pay because it never told me a total amount or gave me a confirmation number. that is why i usually do not order anything over the phone or website.

    I had a similar experience the other day *sighs*. . Advertised on tv at $10 for four trendy tops. . . I am ending up getting eight for $70! Yeah. The way they word it on the site like this: buy one black, buy one white, get the other two free. So when it asks how many you want, I entered “2″ not sure if they meant tops or sets. Probably my own stupidity. . However I thought at some point it would let me review my order before it went through, which it did not. I DID opt for the “softer @$2.50 per”… Which made my total $40, with an additional $30 shipping charge!!!! *gasps*. . Again as others could not locate info to email them.

    Figure I can give a set as a present..? Learned a lesson..? &REALLY hope I love them when I get them!!! *smiles big*

    Also was a bit concerned with sizing.. pretty general and no chart *shrugs*… We shall see *crosses her fingers*

    Ooooo.. Also.. They offered an option for getting alternate colors. Instead of getting the original four colors of black, white, grey and beige, you could opt for the colors of light pink, navy, brown and I think maybe off white was the fourth color(?). Wishing you could mix and match, I went ahead and stuck with the original colors.

    After all was said and done and I was told I had purchased two sets, I really thought that it should have offered to let me have one set in the original color scheme and the other set in the alternate.. However obviously, it did not. Utterly ridiculous if you ask me!

    I guess a product sold like this isn’t dependent on repeat customers, so they can stick it to ya. $30 for shipping a pound or two.. Seriously? *shakes her head*.

    I ordered the same as every one and said no to all the exhausting offers at every one and ended up with triple of the order and $80.
    they even sent wrong size.
    I sent it all back . and ended up getting more & more
    they just kept coming I had to call the credit card co to get
    threw to a human and then still got no where. I called the credit card co back they blocked all orders from them my bill ended up
    being $ 800.00 all toll . GRRRR
    then I ended up still getting them but free go figure.

    you can walk into walmart and buy the trendy tops with NO shipping and u get instant gratifacation….except I got the white and black and they are DIFFERNT sizes…one fits snug and the other is loose…

    i just ordered my trendy top and ended up ordering 2 orders how can i cancel obe of these orders….they took order as soob as i put credit card in u have bo way to comfirm it before it charges u….helpppp
